No more worries for Kuhn

After having spent most of Monday at his wife’s bedside Kuhn has found his way back to the training camp in Canton Schwyz. “The prognosis is reassuring”. Thus Kuhn is ready to employ all of his deadly weapons to stun Switzerland’s opponents, his mind is now free of this emotional burden that could have compromised his fundamental contribution to the Swiss team.

Not having been fully convinced by the Starting 11 following the friendly with Liechtenstein, Kuhn stated: “The 11 players who will be begin the game on Saturday in Basel will have to be at 100%. Patrick (Muller) is an intelligent player. We’ll find the right decision”.

Furthermore Kuhn is not sure whether Barnetta will be available for the first game. Starting from today he will be training with the team but nevertheless Kuhn holds a “Plan B”.

Last but not least, the Swiss National Team delegate has had a private conversation with Marco Streller and seems to have convinced him not to abandon the National Team after Euro 2008.
