How I got hooked on Footy.

Well I was a kid trying to meet some new people at my school(PNCA) in
Portland. My English friend was always trying to tell me how great
soccer was and I just wanted to check something else out. I had no
idea what an obbsession it would become. It helped the entertainment
was cheap (Since I am a non drinker its easy to go to a timbers game
and not spend more than 20 bucks on ticket and a soda.. and a few more
at the Bullpen(the pub by PGE Park)). It also helped that the Timbers
where having an awesome season that year. The next year I ended up
getting a internship for the Timbers and I became a member of the team
for a season. This World Cup will be my first and I am super excited!

Teams I want to watch in the World Cup

Switzerland (Hoppe Suisse!)
Any of the African Teams (they are way underated)
US. (They play hard for a nation that could care less. I want the
best for them, but I feel that the US doesnt deserve to win.. not the
players but the US. I feel that if the US did do good it would just
add another knot to our belt.)

Why Switzerland?

A little Political, A little cause I like to Ski, and a lot on the
fact that everyone that I known that has visited thinks its the best
ran country in the world. I have never been there but I am planning a
trip to go to Euro 2008.
