Optimistic again

June 26th, 2006 | By: Adrian Wagner | 4 Comments »

The Swiss population is very optimistic ahead of the Ukraine game. According to a boulevard newspaper Blick poll, 89% of the Swiss believe that we won’t conceed a goal, despite the fact that Senderos is missing. And you know, if we don’t conceed one – well, then we at least make it to a penalty shoot-out!

You are correct! Unfortunately if you are not very good at penalty shoot-outs you loose anyway.

Good game, Swiss, even if you lost in the penalty shootout. Clean, solid game. Koreans, oh how immature of you to bad-mouth Swiss, just because your country couldn’t make it to this round by losing to Swiss. Reading your posts here, it seems clear to me who the loser really is.
