Accepting this early end is a hard psychological task for the team. It still feels as if it's a nightmare.
But I believe that not having played a competitive official game in 2 years payed its toll. We had a different team at the World Cup especially for what concerns midfield. We had a strong captain like Vogel and now we have an inexperience, albeit promising and enthusiastic, Inler-Fernandes duo.

A win tonight would be important for the future. Even a draw but not a defeat.

Thanks for commenting my posts, after this game my job won't be as intense as it's been this past week but I hope (if I'm given the opportunity and trust) I will keep on commenting Swiss epics under Hitzfeld.

A coach with such an international status can only do as good. In an interview Magnin said that if someone like that wants to coach Switzerland then he must see some good in the team ;)

I still can't believe that the Swiss are out so early. How can some people still deny how unlucky they were during this tournament? Even Austria got a huge (but cheap in my opinion) break against Poland at the end of their match. Hopefully, the Nati players are okay. I know poor Kuhn is probably still crushed. I hope you guys can qualify and get a good result at the 2010 WC S. Africa. Good luck today. I will be watching both of today's matches thanks to my DVR's recording features. Thanks for the great Euro posts, Jan. I really like how passionately you followed them.
