Switzerland – Czech Republic, first half thoughts (Please don’t leave us Frei)

Frei in tears is something that kills the heart of a Swiss Fan. How bad can the injury be? How bad can losing Frei be for one game or even worse for the entire tournament?

Our topscorer, galvanised by playing at home, limped off following an unlucky knee clash with a Czech defender. Eren Derdiyok might take his place, let’s hope he can make us win this game.

Behrami and Lichsteiner have had an excellent game on the right wing while Magnin, constantly under pressure on the left, is doing his best to contain the Czechs.

Benaglio=confidence, I wouldn’t consider him less than Cech and the Senderos-Muller duo is working well. Barnetta and Inler constantly help back in defence while Streller and Gelson Fernandes seems loss. How about having Hakan Yakin come in? His quality would do us good.
