Chronicle of a defeat foretold
England-Switzerland 2-1
… big deal.
We were wont to make an appearance, we were wont to bow before the might of the “Capellian” England, the “Inghilterra Friulana” as the Gazzetta dello Sport named it. Yet we didn’t concede a defeat for mere display of the talents of others.

Euro 2008 draw!
We’re going to win it. I feel it!
As some Swiss newspapers put it, the Gods of football were with us on Sunday.
No Germany, no Italy, no France, no Spain but Portugal, Turkey and Czech Republic.

The coach was expecting a lot from these games, [...]

A quick note on friendlies
The dates for the next three friendlies are as following: 22 Aug. vs. Netherlands, 13 Oct. vs. Austria, 17 Oct. vs. USA
Exciting times ahead
A new season begins in Swiss football - will Zurich or Fc Sion stun Europe? Will the young generation catch the attention of fans worldwide?
